     Copper Sulphate Penta is a salt formed by combining cupric oxide with sulfuric acid. Blue vitriol is another name for it. It is largely used inagricultureas a pesticide, germicide,feed additive, andsoil additive.Some of its secondary applications include employment as a raw material in the manufacture of other copper compounds, as a reagent in analytic chemistry, as an electrolyte for batteries and electroplating baths, and as a locally applied fungicide, bactericide, and astringent in medical therapy.
